4 Units GNLW554-VFD Dewatering Centrifuge Ready for Overseas Sewage Treatment Plant

GN Separation is pleased to announce that four units of GNLW554-VFD dewatering decanter centrifuges are now prepared for shipment to an overseas sewage treatment facility. These high-capacity machines are engineered to enhance sludge dewatering efficiency, strengthen wastewater treatment performance, and offer the plant greater flexibility in managing varying sludge conditions.

The GNLW554-VFD decanter centrifuge is equipped with an advanced variable frequency drive (VFD) system, enabling precise and adjustable control of bowl speed. This flexibility allows operators to fine-tune performance for different sludge properties and operational demands. The rotating drum can be manufactured from duplex stainless steel to deliver improved structural strength and enhanced corrosion resistance, particularly in demanding wastewater environments. The solids discharge ports feature tungsten carbide wear-resistant liners, providing effective protection against abrasion and extending the service life of critical components.

To support smarter and more streamlined plant operation, optional remote monitoring interfaces can be integrated with the customer’s automation system. This feature gives operators access to real-time performance data, enables timely adjustments to operating parameters, and simplifies maintenance planning. When combined with the facility’s existing control architecture, the interface helps ensure more coordinated and efficient process management.

Designed to handle a broad spectrum of sludge types—from municipal sewage sludge to industrial wastewater solids—the GNLW554-VFD decanter centrifuge offers substantial processing capacity. Its VFD-controlled gradual start-up and shutdown improve operational stability, help reduce mechanical stress, and contribute to long-term equipment reliability. These capabilities support downstream processes by effectively reducing sludge volume and maintaining consistent dewatering performance.

The GNLW554-VFD decanter centrifuges feature a compact, modular design that allows flexible installation within both new and existing plant layouts. For this project, our engineering team worked closely with the client to accommodate specific structural, operational, and automation requirements, ensuring the equipment aligns seamlessly with the overall process design.

All four units have been manufactured in accordance with strict quality standards, undergoing thorough inspection and testing prior to shipment. Their delivery highlights our continued commitment to providing reliable, durable, and adaptable dewatering solutions for international wastewater treatment applications.

Once commissioned, the four GNLW554-VFD centrifuges are expected to support stable, efficient sludge management, contribute to improved plant performance, and help the facility achieve its environmental and operational objectives.
