GN Vibrating Screens Applied in Gasification Slag Treatment Project of Energy Company

Recently, a complete set of vibrating screens supplied by GN Separation was successfully installed, commissioned, and officially put into operation in a key gasification slag treatment project of a major energy group in Inner Mongolia. This milestone once again highlights GN’s technological strength and high-end equipment in solid-liquid separation and fine classification, earning recognition from large-scale energy enterprises and providing strong technical support for solid waste resource utilization and environmentally friendly production.

Project Challenges and GN’s Solutions

Gasification slag, a solid byproduct generated during the coal chemical process, requires complex treatment steps including separation, classification, and dewatering. These processes demand equipment with exceptional reliability, efficiency, and dewatering performance. To meet the specific requirements of this project, GN’s technical team developed a customized intelligent screening solution consisting of three core steps:

  1. Core Slag Separation: Box-Type Exciter Linear ScreenGN’s large linear vibrating screenadopts a robust box-type exciter as its vibration source, ensuring powerful and stable operation with a long service life. Its precise linear motion allows the efficient handling of high-volume, variable-quality slag, enabling effective initial separation and medium removal while laying a strong foundation for downstream processes.
  2. Fine Classification: Synergistic Frequency Vibrating Screen
As one of GN’s flagship products, the synergistic frequency vibrating screenapplies advanced frequency coordination technology to precisely control vibration amplitude and frequency. This enables accurate particle size classification with high throughput, meeting the customer’s stringent requirements for slag fractionation and enhancing the overall value of recovered materials.
  3. Efficient Dewatering: High-Frequency Fine Screen
For the final dewatering step, GN’s compacthigh-frequency fine screen delivers excellent performance. Equipped with a high-frequency vibration motor, it effectively breaks water surface tension to accelerate separation and significantly reduce filter cake moisture. Its compact design allows easy integration into existing layouts, providing outstanding dewatering efficiency.

Project Results and Future Outlook

All equipment has been smoothly installed and commissioned, with performance indicators meeting or surpassing design expectations. The system now enables the enterprise to achieve efficient, environmentally friendly slag treatment while promoting resource recovery, reducing operational costs, and delivering both economic and ecological benefits.

The success of this project once again demonstrates the technological leadership, reliability, and solution-oriented expertise of GN Separation’s mining vibrating screens. Going forward, GN will continue to uphold its philosophy of “technological innovation and quality first”, delivering more efficient and intelligent screening solutions for coal, mining, chemical, and environmental industries, and working with customers worldwide to advance green and sustainable industrial development.
