GN Oil Sludge Treatment Centrifuge Unit for South America Client

GN Separation has recently completed the factory assembly and testing of an advanced oil sludge treatment system featuring a 3-phase decanter centrifuge. Designed for deployment at a client site in South America, this system highlights the company’s commitment to providing innovative solutions for global environmental challenges.

Tailored to meet the client’s specific requirements, the system integrates multiple modules engineered for the efficient processing of oil sludge. Each component is meticulously designed to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and durability in diverse operational conditions.

Mud Transfer Module
This module consists of a filter and a mud suction pump that extracts slurry from the storage tank and transfers it to the inclined plate clarifier. It ensures seamless sludge transfer from storage to subsequent treatment stages, promoting a smooth and continuous process. The design prioritizes ease of operation and maintenance, essential for maximizing system uptime and long-term efficiency.

Inclined Plate Clarifier Module
At the core of this module is the Slant Plate Clarifier, which utilizes a multi-layered inclined plate structure to significantly expand the settling area for solids. This design enhances solid-liquid separation, refining the sludge before further processing. The compact footprint of the clarifier makes it particularly suitable for space-constrained environments. The separated clear liquid is directed to a buffer tank before being pumped to the mud tank, while the settled sludge is transferred to the centrifuge module.

3-Phase Decanter Centrifuge Module
This module includes a high-performance 3-phase decanter centrifuge and a receiver tank, designed to separate non-emulsified oil sludge into its primary components: oil, water, and solids. Renowned for its stability and robustness, the centrifuge is a vital tool in the environmental sector for handling oily sludge. Its adaptability to varying sludge consistencies and contaminant levels makes it an essential component of modern waste management strategies.

GN Separation’s system reflects a deep understanding of the complexities of oil sludge treatment. By integrating advanced technology with practical engineering solutions, the company addresses key challenges such as high moisture content, variable solid compositions, and the need for environmentally responsible disposal methods.

As this system embarks on its journey to South America, GN Separation anticipates the positive impact it will have on the client’s operations and the surrounding environment. This project reaffirms the company’s dedication to delivering reliable, efficient, and sustainable solutions for the evolving needs of the waste management industry.
