GN Separation has recently delivered 2 sets of GNFG1440 high-frequency fine Vibrating Screens to an overseas mining customer. The screens will be integrated into the customer’s mineral processing operation for the wet screening, fine-particle classification, and dewatering of mineral materials.
Designed specifically for fine-material applications, the GNFG series combines high-frequency vibration, a large screening area, and wear-resistant polyurethane screen media to support stable and efficient screening in continuous mining operations.
High-Frequency Vibration for Fine Screening
The high-frequency fine Vibrating Screen adopts a two-degree-of-freedom resonance vibration principle. Two imported vibration motors are used as the vibration source to drive the screen and generate stable linear motion.
The high-frequency vibration helps accelerate the movement and stratification of fine particles on the screen surface. This promotes the separation of particles according to size and supports efficient processing of fine-grained materials, particularly in wet screening applications.
The vibration characteristics can also help maintain consistent material distribution across the screening surface, contributing to stable screening performance during continuous operation.
Large Screening Area in a Compact Design
The GNFG1440 is designed with a relatively large effective screening area while maintaining a compact overall structure. This combination allows the equipment to handle a considerable volume of material without requiring an excessively large installation footprint.
The screen box inclination is adjustable, allowing the operating configuration to be adapted to different material characteristics and process requirements. This flexibility makes the GNFG series suitable for a range of fine-material screening and classification applications.
Polyurethane Screen Mesh for Wear Resistance
Screen media is particularly important when processing fine mineral materials, as both screening efficiency and wear resistance can affect equipment performance and maintenance requirements.
GNFG High Frequency Vibrating Screens use polyurethane screen mesh, which provides a high open area together with good wear resistance. The high open area facilitates the passage of undersize particles, while the polyurethane material is suitable for applications involving continuous screening and abrasive materials.
Under normal operating conditions, the average service life of the polyurethane screen mesh can exceed 6 months, although actual service life will vary according to feed characteristics, particle size, abrasiveness, moisture content, operating parameters, and other site conditions.
Suitable for Wet Screening and Classification
The GNFG series can be applied to various fine-particle processing duties, including:
- Fine mineral screening;
- Wet classification;
- Fine-particle separation;
- Dewatering of screened materials;
- Mineral slurry processing.
Its high-frequency vibration and adjustable operating configuration allow the screen to be incorporated into different mineral processing flows according to the required separation duty.
Reliable Equipment for Continuous Mining Applications
The GNFG1440 High Frequency Vibrating Screen is designed with a focus on stable operation, straightforward maintenance, and reliable mechanical performance. Its compact structure and optimized vibration system can also simplify equipment integration within existing or new processing plants.
The delivery of two GNFG1440 units for this overseas mining project demonstrates GN Separation’s ability to supply specialized vibrating screening equipment for international mineral processing applications.
With its high-frequency vibration mechanism, adjustable screen configuration, polyurethane screen media, and compact design, the GN High Frequency Vibrating Screen provides a practical option for mining operations requiring fine screening, classification, and dewatering.
