The GN stack vibrating screen<\/u><\/a>s<\/u>\u00a0is designed for applications including wet screening, fine-particle classification and dewatering<\/strong>\u00a0in mineral processing and other solids-handling industries. The equipment can be configured with multiple screening decks, allowing several separation stages to be incorporated into a single machine.<\/p>\n

Five Screening Decks in One Compact Unit<\/b><\/strong><\/h3>\n

The 5-deck stack vibrating screen<\/u><\/a>s<\/u>\u00a0configuration supplied for this project allows multiple screening surfaces to work within one vertically stacked structure. This arrangement increases the effective screening area without requiring a correspondingly large floor area.<\/p>\n

Stable Linear Vibration<\/b><\/strong><\/h3>\n

The GN stack vibrating screen<\/u><\/a>\u00a0uses a dual-motor self-synchronization design<\/strong>. The two vibration motors work together to generate stable linear motion of the screen box, promoting consistent material movement across the screening surfaces.<\/p>\n

The vibration system is designed to provide high screening efficiency with a relatively simple mechanical structure. GN also offers internationally recognized vibration motors, including Martin and OLI motors, according to project requirements.<\/p>\n

Polyurethane Screen Media<\/b><\/strong><\/h3>\n

The equipment is fitted with polyurethane screen panels<\/strong>, which provide a combination of wear resistance and elasticity. Polyurethane screen media can be particularly useful for fine screening applications and helps reduce the tendency for openings to become blocked under suitable operating conditions.<\/p>\n

For this reason, GN applies sandblasting surface treatment followed by heavy-duty anti-corrosion coating<\/strong>. Where additional protection is required, surfaces in direct contact with the processed material can be equipped with a polyurea resin wear- and corrosion-resistant coating<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

This combination of structural design and surface protection helps the equipment withstand demanding operating environments and supports longer service intervals.<\/p>\n

One of the advantages of the Stack Vibrating Screen is its ability to be configured according to the customer’s process requirements. The number of screening decks, screen aperture, screening media and equipment dimensions can be selected according to the feed material, required separation sizes and processing capacity.<\/p>\n

For example, GN’s GND5Z1014 model has five screening decks and a total screening area of approximately 7 m\u00b2<\/strong>, while larger models are also available for higher capacity requirements. Actual processing capacity varies with material characteristics and operating conditions.<\/p>\n
