The Banana screen derives its name from its vibrating deck’s banana-like shape and finds application in both dry and wet grading, desliming, and media removal procedures. Structurally, it comprises a box exciter, screen deck, vibration-damping springs, support, and drive mechanism, offering a linear motion amplitude trajectory. GN’s Large Banana Screen features a screen surface designed with continuous multiple angles, emphasizing a significant inclination angle at the feed end, facilitating material movement and layering for efficient screening. The components in contact with materials are coated with polyurea resin to enhance their longevity.
